NCT (Neo Culture Technology) Dream is a boy band from South Korea. It is the third unit of the boy band namely NCT formed by SM Entertainment. The boy band debuted in 2016. Initially, the concept of NCT Dream is all about youth; consequently, the members are teenagers. After the members have reached their 20s, they will be graduated and changed by new teenage members.
However, as the fan base has been growing larger and likely the fans would be disappointed if the original members of Dream graduated, SM Entertainment decided to keep 7 members staying together until now. Well, there are 7 members within the Dream unit. They are Mark, Haechan, Jeno, Jaemin, Renjun, Chenle, and Jisung. Their presence in the K-Pop industry of the 4th generation has brought fresh air. The unique concept attracts a lot of people around the world to become their fans. Their cheerful musical instruments, gorgeous music videos, meaningful messages conveyed in the lyrics, beautiful vocals, and handsome visuals are some things that captivate youngsters to cherish them. Besides, their presence even brings happiness, meaning, and spirit to their fans’ life. Below are three reasons why NCT Dream brings lives to its fans worldwide.
Firstly, as we have already known, Dream members were teenagers when they debuted. They bring an innocent-cute look yet are fun and talented at the same time. Due to Dream’s concept being very rare, or even I dare to say no other boy bands in Korea have the same concept as NCT Dream, it attracts more people to love them and grew as fans. The youthful music style present on the stage bring a fresh atmosphere to the K-Pop world in the past 5 years. Moreover, the lyrics within the songs have meaningful messages for youngsters such as to strive for the best in life, to never give up on reaching dreams, and to live in the present. To put it simply, this boy band enlightens its fans on the journey to a better future.
Secondly, besides releasing amazing albums each year, NCT Dream has numerous fun content on their Official YouTube account as well as appearing in some Variety Shows. For example, some episodes of the Dreams’ vlog on their YT account, feature the daily routine of the members. From watching their daily lives, the fans can see how hard working and disciplined they are to the point they can reach their current position. Even after their achievements until this far, they still maintain good habits of productive life. Such content sets a good example or role model to the fans. The fans are expected to be aware of the importance of spending their time wisely and how to manage it. As a result, the members’ good habits powerfully spread the positive virus to the fans which can influence them to be better as individuals.
Thirdly, NCT Dream has strong friendships and cute affection among the members. Many fans are hyping on social media such as Twitter, YouTube, and Instagram about how adorable and heartwarming the members’ interactions are. Sometimes they can become serious and charismatic on the stage, whilst other times they act like other youngsters who like to play around and enjoy life by having each other company everywhere they go. For instance, recently Haechan quite often to have interacted with his fans on his Instagram account by doing live, mostly at night. He tries to greet the fans, share a piece of the story of his life, answer some fans’ questions, and sometimes other members might hang out with him. Haechan’s interactions with other members is very entertaining to be watched, for they often do things out of the box. Therefore, it is always worth it to watch him live with or without other members. Despite of life challenges encounter by fans in the real world, the members’ chaotic (in a good way) and witty jokes definitely recharge the fans’ moods.
In short, NCT Dream is an amazing boy band from South Korea which has the best quality boy band that has ever demanded: the perfect visual, vocal, dance, rap, and great teamwork among the members.
